Prediker 9:11

SV	Ik keerde mij, en zag onder de zon, dat de loop niet is der snellen, noch de strijd der helden, noch ook de spijs der wijzen, noch ook de rijkdom der verstandigen, noch ook de gunst der welwetenden, maar dat tijd en toeval aan alle dezen wedervaart;
WLC	שַׁ֜בְתִּי וְרָאֹ֣ה תַֽחַת־הַשֶּׁ֗מֶשׁ כִּ֣י לֹא֩ לַקַּלִּ֨ים הַמֵּרֹ֜וץ וְלֹ֧א לַגִּבֹּורִ֣ים הַמִּלְחָמָ֗ה וְ֠גַם לֹ֣א לַחֲכָמִ֥ים לֶ֙חֶם֙ וְגַ֨ם לֹ֤א לַנְּבֹנִים֙ עֹ֔שֶׁר וְגַ֛ם לֹ֥א לַיֹּדְעִ֖ים חֵ֑ן כִּי־עֵ֥ת וָפֶ֖גַע יִקְרֶ֥ה אֶת־כֻּלָּֽם׃
Trans.	šaḇətî wərā’ōh ṯ^aḥaṯ-haššemeš kî lō’ laqqallîm hammērwōṣ wəlō’ lagibwōrîm hammiləḥāmâ wəḡam lō’ l^aḥăḵāmîm leḥem wəḡam lō’ lannəḇōnîm ‘ōšer wəḡam lō’ layyōḏə‘îm ḥēn kî-‘ēṯ wāfeḡ^a‘ yiqəreh ’eṯ-kullām:

AC	יא שבתי וראה תחת השמש כי לא לקלים המרוץ ולא לגבורים המלחמה וגם לא לחכמים לחם וגם לא לנבנים עשר וגם לא לידעים חן כי עת ופגע יקרה את כלם
ASV	I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
BE	And again I saw under the sun that the reward goes not to him who is quick, or the fruits of war to the strong; and there is no bread for the wise, or wealth for men of learning, or respect for those who have knowledge; but time and chance come to all.
Darby	I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to the intelligent, nor yet favour to men of knowledge; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
ELB05	Ich wandte mich und sah unter der Sonne, daß nicht den Schnellen der Lauf gehört, und nicht den Helden der Krieg, und auch nicht den Weisen das Brot, und auch nicht den Verständigen der Reichtum, und auch nicht den Kenntnisreichen die Gunst; denn Zeit und Schicksal trifft sie alle.
LSG	J'ai encore vu sous le soleil que la course n'est point aux agiles ni la guerre aux vaillants, ni le pain aux sages, ni la richesse aux intelligents, ni la faveur aux savants; car tout dépend pour eux du temps et des circonstances.
Sch	Und wiederum sah ich unter der Sonne, daß nicht die Schnellen den Wettlauf gewinnen, noch die Starken die Schlacht, daß nicht die Weisen das Brot, auch nicht die Verständigen den Reichtum, noch die Erfahrenen Gunst erlangen, sondern daß alles auf Zeit und Umstände ankommt.
